I don’t claim to be a guru nor do I try to come off as profound scholar. However, on the subject of singing and performance, I have picked up a wealth of knowledge along the way from experience, making terrible mistakes, a lot of reading and from seasoned professionals. I am always learning and try to remain in touch with current trends without losing my personality. I also have listened to pros in the industry and gleaned from what they had to say.
I have seen many an artist fall and fail because of bad decisions, poor performance and ill-fated timing. I decided to do this spin-off from Artists You Should Know and The Open Letters to help both aspiring artists and seasoned professionals be the best that they can be and avoid some of the mistakes I made in my musical journey. Put aside your lyric sheets, instruments and microphones for a moment.
